Midwest Frontier AI Consulting exists to train the Midwest's law firms and businesses to use generative artificial intelligence responsibly.
If you are an attorney, read some of our posts on history of AI Sanctions (see map). Are you aware of these risks? An intern, a clerk, a paralegal, or a junior attorney may use AI. You think you don't use generative AI yourself: what about introducing AI-hallucinated information from something like the Google AI Overview or the "writing help" you got from Copilot in Microsoft Word? Are you aware of these seemingly mundane risks? Could you catch opposing counsel submitting filings with hallucinated citations? Our training and CLE address this and more.
For small and medium businesses, nearly any industry can benefit from the efficiency gains of intentional generative AI adoption, but only with proper training. The reality, however, can often be powerful and expensive AI tools in every nook and cranny with AI usage mandates for employees who don't understand it. That's why a lot of AI projects fail and waste money. Don't do it this way. Start with training. Pick the right tool for the job. Use AI only where it makes sense.
